We have a lot of families that come in and join us in the orchards on a Sunday. The orchards is such a beautiful space, who wouldn’t want to walk around and enjoy connecting to nature. The children get to run around and we have been doing some creative ideas with them, they have a lot of fun, get some fresh air and we enjoy having the laughter and the giggles they bring.
Apple collecting is going from strength to strength. We bagged a whopping 22 bags of apples that were collected and taken away to make juice and cider last week and we are hoping to have collected the same amount again by the end of Thursday. That is a whole ton of apples, how fantastic is that, it couldn’t of been possible without the help of our lovely volunteers, who manage to come out smiling even in the rain, thanks guys you are amazing.
We also have a couple of groups of students from South Devon College that are coming in and giving us a hand, some of them are doing volunteering as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award and another group is a learning opportunities group, they all work really hard and it gives them a beautiful outdoor space to be in touch with nature. Their help is really appreciated and they all look like they are having great fun.
